Equinox International Resources Ltd was incorporated in 3rd December 1991 as a limited liability company under the Laws of the federal Republic of Nigeria as a Trading Company. The Company started business with the exportation of wood and wood products. The company was also importing trucks from the United States of America and was a big player in the industry in the early to mid 1990s.
The company then ventured into importation of fabrics for several years. In 1998, the company went into the importation of home and office furniture. After a long spell in importation, the company went into manufacturing in 2007 to fulfill the vision of the promoters to become a leading Pan African furniture company that will be a household name.
The company has two other subsidiaries: Equinox Industries Ltd, manufacturers of body care products; ENVE Herbal Soap and Macstephenson Investment and Exchange Bureau Ltd, involved in Finance. The Company is also involved in Real Estate business.
We have a staff strength of one hundred (100) employees with branches across the country at Ikoyi, Oregun, Ajao Estate, Abuja and Port Harcourt and intend to open more branches as the business expands.

Mr. Obinna Phillip Ezeuko is the president and Chief Executive Officer of the company. He is a trained Lawyer,Solicitor and advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, with over 10 years at the Nigerian Bar and active legal practice. He is a professional Businessman of more than 15 years standing. He has attended several Advanced Executive Management Programmes, both in Nigeria and Overseas.
He brings to the Board a highly insightful critical attitude and perception as to the economic viability of business venture and projects, consensus building in Board decisions and a hands-on executive style in operational running of the Equinox Group of Companies.
He is married to one wife and blessed with children.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Chris Ude –Umanta has a B.Sc in Microbiology from the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, and later studied Finance & Management in the UK. He served as the General Manager of a successful family- owned small business, Quantum Heights Limited, an importer of used automobiles from Europe and the United States, and computer hardware from the US and Asia.
In 2011, he helped attract Bonatti Costruzioni Generali Nig Ltd, an Italian Construction & Engineering company to
Nigeria as Business Consultant, and worked with the company for its first 2 years in Nigeria as Director of Business Development. He joined the Equinox Group as Chief Operations Officer in 2014, but still consults for Bonatti.
Chris is well travelled and enjoys outdoors and sports.
Mr. Aji Abba is the Executive Director of the company. He is a Civil Engineer with over 10 years post qualification in the Construction industry. He has worked on various civil and industrial projects.
Mr. Charles Ozuzu is a qualified Engineer registered with COREN. He holds a Masters degree in Project Management and has over 25 years post qualification in Project Management and Consultancy. He has worked on numerous turnkey projects and has the highest level of professionalism in the construction industry.
MANAGING DIRECTOR/ PROJECT CONSULTANT
Mr. Isah Adamu Isah is the Managing Director / Project Consultant of the company. He has over 15 years post qualification experience in Project Management. He has worked on various public and private projects. He received his training at the Federal College of Education, Katsina and National Open University, Kano. He is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience.
